Jazz at the Pawnshop (double LP)

"Jazz at the Pawnshop" is probably THE audiophile jazz classic par excellence! The recording was made in 1975 and captures the concert by Arne Domnérus and his band at the Stampen Club in Stockholm. Since then, "Jazz at the Pawnshop" has made an impressive triumphant advance around the world. Like hardly any other recording, it conveys the live atmosphere of the evening: the audience mumbles, glasses clink in the background, and the cash register rattles. You can hear jazz standards - and a lot of joy in playing.

The double LP of this ingenious recording is not an ATR mastercut, but it still sounds great and offers more songs than the single LP.
